Special NIC for Disabled Persons in Pakistan

President of Pakistan has inaugurated the Special NIC (National Identity Card) Project for special persons/disabled persons on August 10’ 2009. Special Persons can get this special NIC from any of NADRA (National Database and Registration Authority) branch offices anywhere in Pakistan on the basis of disability certificate.The disability certificate can be obtained from Ministry of Social Welfare (NCRDP) and also from Provincial or District Social Welfare Offices. The Real Purpose of this card enable special persons to get benefits from Govt.’s beneficiary programs.
